Bats of Western Pennsylvania - Online

Bats are one of western Pennsylvania’s most interesting flying mammals, but in the past decade, many have been suffering steep declines from disease. This program focuses on the different bat species found here, the bats’ ecologies and life histories, as well as updates on White-nose Syndrome. We will also discuss ways to help bats by creating bat boxes and bat-friendly habitats in your own backyard. Free.
