Buffalo Creek Coalition Meeting - BCNP or Online
Join Audubon and the Buffalo Creek Coalition to learn about the state of the watershed, habitat restoration, monitoring, and education efforts. For the November 2024 meeting, we’ll welcome special guests from the Lingering Hemlock Project.
The Lingering Hemlock Project, a subset of the coalition making up The Nature Conservancy’s “Tree Species in Peril,” focuses on locating and selectively breeding eastern and Carolina hemlock trees demonstrating evidence of resistance to hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA). They’ll detail relevant, ongoing strategies for furthering HWA-resistant hemlock breeding in Pennsylvania. Join us to learn more and get involved!
Attend in person at Buffalo Creek (154 Monroe Rd, Sarver, PA 16055) or join the live stream. A free registered Zoom account is required to attend online.
