Student and youth programs
In-school programs
ASWP programs connect students to the wonders of birds and nature. Our programs are an entry point to life-long learning and stewardship. And you don’t have to leave school to do it! All programs adapt to your grade level and goals. We can do more than one topic or age level on a given day.
Field trips to our reserves
All field experiences feature low student-to-leader ratios of less than 15 students per leader, or even lower for younger grades. Shorter field experiences can be combined to extend the day for students.
Birthday parties
Host a unique and special birthday party at Audubon! Birthday parties are available year-round at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, Buffalo Creek Nature Park, and Succop Nature Park. A nature-themed party is a great way to celebrate your child’s special day and several themed party activities are available to suit your child’s interests.
Homeschool programs
ASWP supports families seeking to enhance their connections to the natural world. We can talk simply or dive deep into science to meet your goals.
Scouting at ASWP
ASWP offers exciting programs for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and similar youth groups to better develop a connection with birds and nature.
Programs are offered at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve (Fox Chapel) and Succop Nature Park (Butler, Butler County).
